TinyBulb is a place to play games and publish your own. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Playing games

You don't need an account to play. Games run in a sandbox with no network access, so a game can't send anything about you anywhere.

To show creators how their games do, TinyBulb counts each play and how long you play. To count each player once a day without a cookie, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address and browser for that day only, then delete it.

To see how the site is used, we count visits to each page the same way, and tell people from search engines, AI apps and other bots by the name their browser or app sends.

Signing in with Google

You sign in when you publish a game. Google then shares your name, email address and Google account ID with us, and nothing else: we never see your password, contacts or files.

Games you publish

When you or your AI app submits a game, we store its files, title, description and images. Once you publish it, anyone can see and play it. We only receive the game, never your conversation with your AI.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in for 30 days, and a few that last 10 minutes while you sign in. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Who handles your data

TinyBulb runs on Cloudflare, which stores our database and game files and handles every request. Like any web host, it sees technical details such as your IP address, and our request logs are kept for a few days to fix problems. Google handles sign-in. Both may process data in the United States and other countries. We also use your IP address for a minute to limit how many games one address can submit.

How long we keep it

Children

Anyone can play without an account. To sign in, you need to be at least 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has signed in, we delete their account.

Your rights

Email support@tinybulb.com to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have a game or your whole account deleted. Deleting your account removes your name, email and every game you published. If you're in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
